FOOM MEMBERSHIP KIT, created and designed by
Steranko. After his stint on SHIELD, X-Men and
Captain America, he collaborated with Stan Lee in
1973 to form the fan club Friends Of Ol' Marvel,
producing a special membership kit and three issues of
FOOM Magazine. The kit includes an oversized envelope with a
colorful, life-sized portrait of the Hulk; a gold metallic
membership card; three Day-Glo stick-ons with
FOOM slogans; a puzzle insert and a full-color
22x28'' poster featuring 14 flying, fighting Marvel
superheroes and the FOOM creed! Steranko also produced the
first three issues of the official club magazine, which he
packed with news, bios, checklists, art, anagrams, and
games, including special centerspread boards (Showdown,
Moving Target, Hunt the Hulk!) in each issue. Steranko's
file copies are offered here: the complete kit plus three
